I don’t recall ever having blogged about the RBL site and blog (Review of Biblical Literature). Both the website and blog provide free access to book reviews on scholarly books for biblical studies, archaeology, and theology. The most recent issue showed up in my email today. It has some interesting titles reviewed, including:
Anne Porter and Glenn M. Schwartz, eds., Sacred Killing: The Archaeology of Sacrifice in the Ancient Near East
Reviewed by William L. Lyons
Jonathan Huddleston, Eschatology in Genesis
Reviewed by James S. Lee
There are many others that readers will find of interest. RBL is a good way to keep up with what’s new in biblical scholarship in terms of new books. You can sign up for the newsletter (email) updates or the blog’s RSS.
