I neglected to post something when the registration deadline for MEMRA expired, but (obviously) it did. For those who might want to go through a Greek and Hebrew grammar with yours truly, the next opportunity to register will be after Thanksgiving. That module will start on January 3.
MEMRA Update
I am very interested in your Hebrew course. Could you tell me (or point me) how it is conducted? I started with James Tucker a few months back where we had a Skype session once a week (but he was unable to continue the course). I just discovered your blog and MEMRA today. Fantastic. Not sure whether I met you in June when I attended Steve Runge’s Discourse Analysis workshop in Bellingham. I hestiate to ask this, but here goes anyway. Which would be better? Your course or the Hebrew module for the Logos software? Thanks. Craig
The course extends over a whole year, working through Mark Futato’s grammar in two week units. I make videos of each chapter, going through the content in an overview. Then students are tasked with reading through the chapter and attempting the exercises. I make more screen capture videos going through those exercises. Questions are handled via a Google Group devoted to the course. I answer those in real time. I can send you a sample syllabus if you like – just email me.
