   Good stuff on Acts 2. I agree with everything you said there concerning how the church should better model the giving/sharing of the first century church.
   I can’t see it happening here. Church and worship is so casual and shallow that it is hard to know where one believer starts and another ends. What we need is some persecution. Thin the herd. Whoever is left, well, I’ll share with them.

   Some sarcasm in my first comment. Some. I do share and give, especially with believers, but I have served in church for years in the area of giving/helping ministries and just have seen alot of laziness and abuse and people taking advantage.
   Like Mike said, discernment is needed here, but it is difficult to say ‘no’ sometimes.

   Hi! Mike – and so the quality goes on – with many thanks. But without wishing to make any criticism, is there any news of the PDFs of the podcasts? I know it is a labour of love and one is reluctant to sound churlish, but anticipation does not necessarily make for patience.

   This is not directly related to the teaching theme in the Podcast, except that I was the one Mike was referring to at the end about meeting at the Theology gathering in Portland. Anyone who is thinking of attending one of the meetings Mike goes to , I greatly encourage you to do so. Be ready to learn Theology !Mike dwells in a circle of Theologians ,and its awesome ! Mike is a very warm, personable guy, and watching him in action you can tell that he gives joy and warmth to many. What going to a meeting like the one I went to with Theologians, really did something in my soul. I realized the people I need to be around, any many of you would probably feel the same way. It heightened my Theological awareness, and I have solid Theologies to give to the meetings I attend. Warning, sense of humor required. I don’t know why I just said that, Joy of the LORD I guess.

   DrMSH, Didn’t know where to ask this but are you by chance gonna address the “Finding Jesus” nonsense that is airing on CNN? They are just giddy over the Gospel of Judas. I know you have already covered Judas in the past but I thought you might do it again.

   Thanks Mike I find your discourses very feeding and refreshing and as the site is labeled back to the basics of what the scripture actually says. I was first introduced to you through ” Angles cohabiting with women” you tube presentation and as a result had a much clearer understanding of the old testament was all about. I was hooked as I find your discourses ( if that is the right word) void of speculation, hype over emotion and laid on the solid foundation of the word. This podcast was a excellent example of that I have thoroughly enjoying the Acts podcast and always look forward to the next one. I now open a new window so I can follow the transcript along with the audio. Do you have plans on coming to Australia?
