Archaeology and the Old Testament I
A study of the history of ancient Israel, from its origins in the second millennium B.C. to the 5th century B.C., with emphasis on the contributions of archaeology for understanding that history. The course is not a survey of the historical books of the Old Testament.
Old Testament Theology I
An examination of Old Testament creation cosmology.
The Book of 1 Enoch, I
A study of the book of 1 Enoch (part I). The course focuses on a close reading of 1 Enoch along with selected articles and commentary dealing with its content.
There is also a new rotation of the biblical Greek and biblical Hebrew courses. These courses last for 52 weeks.
