If you’re interested in phony DNA research to prop up ancient alien hybrids and alleged nephilim skulls, you’re in luck. Two recent posts came to my attention today. They’re both long, but well worth the time.
First, there’s the essay by Frank Johnson at the Ancient Aliens Debunked blog: “Another Bone to Pick…With Peruvian Nephilim/Alien Hybrids.” It’s a good survey/refutation of the alleged evidence. It’ll get you up to speed on the claims and personalities involved.
Next we have (drum roll, please) a real archaeologist weigh in on the skulls – Keith Fitzpatrick Matthews on the Bad Archaeology blog. Keith’s essay, “The Paracas skulls: aliens, an unknown hominid species or cranial deformation?” is nothing short of devastating. In particular, pretend anthropologist Brien Foerster, a participant in the upcoming “Nephilim Skull Tour” comes out looking very bad, even dumb. (Just read it). This essay deals a bit with the DNA issue, but focuses more on the forensics of the skulls themselves.
Where’s the verse in the Bible again about nephilim having elongated skulls? (crickets chirping)
Hi Michael,
I want to let you know this is being peddled also to the Christians through people like L.A. Marzulli and Steve Quayle. They also have claimed to do a DNA test on the hair of the one skull and they claim it is not human. This was shown in Watchers 6 and addressed in his book. Looks like he also going on a tour with Brien
May 5-15: Peru tour with L. A. Marzulli & Brein Foerster – There are still openings left!

I know. Sad.
I still wonder about those huge craniums. His article was so focused on the personalities that I had a hard time getting at facts.
He used strange wording regarding the cranial capacity of the skulls: “…the Paracas skulls have an average capacity of 1600 cm3 and the human range is up to 1800 cm3 and they therefore fall well within the normal distribution range.”
Why compare the average (of the large skulls) against the upper limit for normal humans? Considering that he had to remove the statement just preceding it, about capacity changing with deformation, I think I smell a rat.
What is the largest capacity of the largest skull? I am more interested in the anomalies than the averages! Thanks!
Which person is the “he” in your quotations?
Do you believe that aliens intersect with the people, that the aliens are demons that need a body like this from Paracas?
The Paracas skulls have nothing to do with space aliens. Again – show me the actual DNA test results (to get them cross-checked by a real geneticist). Give me the name of the geneticist (to see if he’s really a geneticist). Give me the name of the lab (for the same reason). Those who name the name of Christ need to shun deception. It’s real simple.
There are no space aliens that we know of. No scientific evidence has ever been brought forth to demonstrate that, or to even prove the idea is coherent. If there are aliens, they wouldn’t be demons, since demons are not described as being who come from distant planets, who have bodies, whose bodies obey the laws of physics, who need technology to get here, who need to perpetuate their species through nutrition, hydration, and reproduction. All THAT is what an extraterrestrial would be. This isn’t a biblical description of a demon.
While I believe people can be demonized, the alleged alien abduction experience is largely either psychology (e.g., sleep paralysis) or of very human causation (documented military mind control or mind influence). I’m willing to say basically none of it (very small percentage) is demonization. And think about what you’re asking. If this “demon alien” can get here — either with a ship of interdimensionally — why would you ever conclude that he needs a body? What purpose is there to it? We embodied people are far more limited than spiritual beings.
Thanks for the detailed reply, I have three more that are related to the topic
1.What happened to the spirits of the Nephilim who were beheaded during the flood did they become unclean spirits who wander, as described by Jesus “Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out”.
Notice say “dry places” dosen’t like water?
2.Is David Flynn argued that the gray (alien) is actually genetically modified bodies of people to get them possessed by spirits preflood Nephilim?
3.Where are the remains of the post-flood Nephilim ,if these are not from Peru?
1. There is no basis to conclude that all unclean spirits (or any) in the gospels refers back to Gen 6 events. ALL traditions (biblical and other 2nd temple Jewish) have the Gen 6 spirit beings “in prison” (Tartarus and other descriptions – 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6). Reading Luke 11:24 as thought it contradicts 2 Pet 2 and Jude 6 is poor hermeneutics.
2. There is no scientific basis for Flynn’s claim. (And he offered none).
3. Where 99.9% of the millions of remains of ALL people who lived in great antiquity are – the dust. Think about it – archaeologists ought to be recovering multiple skeletons every day from the Holy Land because millions of people lived there over the past 6000 years. But there are only a few hundred. It’s because bone doesn’t survive in those conditions without embalming. It’s not rocket science, nor is it conspiracy.
People who live in dry places LOVE water – they need it to survive. The phrase doesn’t mean “doesn’t like water.”
Do 2 Pet.2:4 and Judah does not refer to the fallen angels who are imprisoned in Tartarus, not ghosts of pre-flood Nephilim?
No – 2 Peter and Jude (with all Jewish traditions from the Second Temple period) have the original offending watchers imprisoned. It works like this:
1) original offending sons of God / Watchers + women (Gen 6:1-4) …
2) …. produce nephilim …
3) …. 1 Enoch and other texts say when the nephilim were killed, their disembodied spirits (also called watchers at least once) = demons
The imprisoned spirits are category #1, not category #3.
