I’ll be in San Francisco for the annual scholarly society meetings very soon. The meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) is first (Nov 16-18) followed by the meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL; Nov 19-22). Other societies piggy-back on those two major events (e.g., NEAS, IBR, ASOR).

I’ll be reading two papers at ETS this year (I will make them available on the blog after the event):

“The Name Theology of Israelite Religion”

“Does Divine Plurality in the Hebrew Bible Demonstrate an Evolution From Polytheism to Monotheism in Israelite Religion?”

If you are in the SF area, get a day pass and stop by!  Here is the ETS program. The SBL program is located here and is searchable.
