Have you read my novel, The Portent? If so, the subject matter of the link below will sound familiar:
Gene Drives – Will Conqueror Biomolecular Bots Dictate a New Book of Life?
One of the sub-plots to The Portent is the use of genetic alteration and synthetic biology to create new species — or alien life forms, so as to create the fulfillment of that “discovery prediction.”
If you haven’t read it, perhaps intelligent fiction with theological twists isn’t for you.
And don’t forget — The Portent is the sequel to The Facade, so you’ll be lost without reading that first.
Check out the reviews on Amazon for both!
Speaking of Portent and Facade… are there any plans to have them or any of your other books released on Audible?
None at present.
Are they in audio book? I drive long hours on a long haul and don’t have the luxury to sit down and read but listen to audio books as most radio is endless commercials. I have the Unseen Realm in audio book and it is a god sent. Brian Godawa audio books are also good to listen during hrs spent on the road. Mike if you have any suggestion for a listening list, please post, I would appreciate it very much.
They aren’t in audio book form (or CD).
I’m only half way through the Facade 🙁
Not sure what this means (“reading disabled”) – ?
Meaning visually impaired, or functionally illiterate. I have many patients with cognitive impairments that nevertheless respond to audio much better than reading. Reading ability in our culture is dramatically falling, and I am finding that many people I send toward your books really cannot or will not read. Youtube and audio are the primary portals of learning. Hence, the original Kindles to make any unlocked book an audio book.
