Just a heads up!
Registration for MEMRA ancient language courses ends in three weeks (Jan 18 is the last day). The module begins on February 2.
Courses for this module are:
- Intro to Biblical Hebrew
- Intro to Biblical Greek
- Intro to Biblical Aramaic
- Intro to Ugaritic
All courses are plotted out over one year. You can proceed faster if you wish (or slower, truth be told).
I may offer Egyptian hieroglyphics late in the second (or third, if there is one) module in 2015. I’m changing the grammar, though, from the one that’s listed on the site. I’ve decided to just use Allen’s.
I have to review Egyptian mathematics anyway . . . for book 3 of The Facade saga (for those paying attention). We’ll see.
Dr. Heiser,
Would the Egyptian module just be an introduction to heiroglyphs or would it include a full introduction to Egyptian grammar?
full Egyptian grammar (Allen’s book – have to remember to change that on the website).
Quick question: I am interested in these courses but are the modules structured in such a way that you can self-pace and start a little later?
Cheers
Yes – you can self pace and start a little later.
