Yes, you read that correctly – 9 parts.
I’ve been out of commission for about a week with grading, travel time, and now in an intensive teaching week with “Fern and Audrey” and a dozen other folks. So … I fell behind keeping track of these. But here they are:

There is also an extra part of part 5 at

Thanks – hard to track all that!
天昏地暗,也阻挡不住我对你博客的爱恋!
I wanted to beg off this one and tell you the dog ate my homework…
Oh, snap. Calvinism. (part 2?3?) Firstly, I’m suspicious that people would put down their Calvin and Luther bats had they actually read what either of them had written. Hence the “isms” that ain’t. Oh sure, I enjoy Luther calling this pope or that ecclesiastical mutt the anti-Christ as much as the next person, but his commentaries on Romans and Galations aren’t half bad from an exhortational, thought provoking point of view. Calviny-ism leaves me pretty cold. Seems like codified nonsense aimed at defining God so we can fold Him nicely and tuck Him in our back pocket. Talking in hexagons is still just talking in circles with a few more angles thrown in. Thanks for dealing with that. Politely.
By part 6 “things” seem to be evening-out, “proof-of-concept”-wise. It dawns on me that this is the first presentation of yours that resembles a debate (that I’ve seen/read). I fell for it. I’m a homer. (Hockey/3rd period/idiot banging on the glass…) So by part 7 I’ve got you ahead on points.
QUOTE
(Part 8)
So, in short, I have no qualm with the apocalyptic motifs. They are indeed obvious (and chaos metaphors like control over / splitting the waters are inherently part of apocalypticism since chaos needs to be dealt with in finality). It’s just material for another time.
UnQUOTE
‘Apocalypticism’ (added to dictionary).
All in all this was the best point by point “review” I’ve read and I thank Dr Witherington and you for providing it.
Best.
