My friends and fellow BS-detectors Cris Putnam and Natalina have posted a lengthy review / debunking of Jeffrey Daugherty’s book about the apostle Paul being the antichrist. (Yes, you read that correctly). It’s entitled, “Time Travel Isn’t Research.” In case you think that’s just a jab, it isn’t. Daugherty claims he can time travel, and so he knows his wacky interpretation of the New Testament is correct.
There just seems to be no end to the utterly insipid clap-trap people will spout and, sadly, will believe. No matter how dumb it is, there will be someone who pays for it.
Jeffrey Daugherty was on Coast to Coast AM on April 6. He didn’t mention his time traveling abilities. His take on the apostle Paul wasn’t very convincing.
I wonder what happened in his life that caused him to throw out Christianity and embrace heresy and occultism? He mentioned that his wife left him, but I don’t know if that was the “trigger” or not. It’s sad that this happened to him. On coast to coast am, he seemed nice, but his Biblical interpretations and beliefs are bizarre to say the least.
