According to my blog’s records, this week marks five years since I started the Naked Bible. Hard to believe, I know.
As many of you know, I have three blogs. As far as a five-year track record for this blog, here are some stats:
Number of Posts: 583
Word Count: 299,337
Congrats! I’m late to the party (started following last summer) but love the site. My college students are now being “forced” to be fans too!
you’re welcome!
Happy Birthday and Congratulation! You did not flop prematurely.
5 years…nearly 600 posts…almost 300k words…and a more prominent crown of splendor for its author and readers! Thanks for the blogs!
thanks!
Happy Birthday.
Here’s to another 5 years with as little eschatology as possible. I dont agree with your theology at all in some areas (i’m a Calvinist) but its good to see this type of blog, which promotes layman learning and original language study with ANE insight.
you’re welcome, and thanks!
I, for one, have enjoyed it.
Go for another five.
thanks for the note!
I look forward to reading this blog when it’s a teenager! (At least it won’t ask for the car keys!)
LOL
Congratulations!!! Please don’t stop. I always thank God for you.
Just want to add your podcasts are an answer to my prayers. Much deeper than I could ever understand.
I have been ever so lucky to stumble across your material online. After being sucked up in the confusion and “mystery” of the of many of the topics on which you speak and write, I was able to make much sense of all that confused me with a refreshed biblicle outlook; which was in part inspired by your work. It is unfortunate that so much of what is available to individuals on the supernatural, and who choose to believe in a “supernatural reality” really seem to push the same idea(s): Gnosticism, Theosophy, or some variant of New Age thinking. Thanks Mike, for your excellent work.
thanks; that’s a very perceptive comment, by the way.
