The given link is good to know about the Raelians but reading the book “Intelligent Design” by Rael gives much more information. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.rael.org/download.php so better read the source than its re-reading. I see it as a very clever “atheist creationism”, a true alternative to the more and more painfully explained “deist” or “evolutionist” visions of our fast-changing world.
Wow! Never read a concise but thorough treatment of the Raelians. Im from Quebec City, and Im astonished that the Raelians established themselves in the Quebec Province like this.

Hi Mike, we met in Roswell 07, I enjoyed your lecture. Regarding the Raelians, I lived in Vegas for 16 years and got aquainted with the Raelians there. I read the books. I personally have many common interests with Claude Vorillion aka Rael. I am the same age as he is and a singer songwriter and car nut etc, I also am a big science fiction reader. I read the works of Robert A Heinlein as they were published. The Raelian lifestyle and cloning and and all comes from Heinlein’s “Time Enough For Love” a sequel to “Methuselah’s Childern”. Time, hit the bookstores around 73, shortly before Rael’s UFO expierence. I explained all this to the Las Vegas Raelians but of course they aren’t that well read and nothing can shake their faith in their prophet. Billy Meir was also making headlines around that time. I think Rael knew opourtunity when it slapped him in the face. I don’t hold it against him, they have a lot of fun and I am somewhere between and aiethist and an agnostic. Just what the heck is God anyway? The ET theroy is more logical than magic. Thanks, Bill
@ioobill: if a theory is based on non-evidence, it cannot be logical. Where is the proof of an ET reality?
This is an interesting scientific hypothesis,present in Intelligent Design Message from the Designers which allows for a logical explanation for the real agenda behind the appearances of the Ufos, over the millennia and especially since 1945, a sensible explanation for the original intent behind all the world religions and a better working scientific model than the theory of evolution.One simply changes the evidence of progressive design ,evidenced by the theory of evolution for the progressive evolution of design, by advanced science – much quicker than nature against a backdrop, of their having been many humanities on this very ancient planet ,which have disappeared for the self-evident reasons we an see today. If this is science fiction then, within the context of this hypothesis, so are the dangers of nuclear war, over-population and environmental degradation and for that matter the subject of Ufos.
As far as I am aware, this is one of a few hypothetical frameworks of argument, that allows the subjects of Ufos to be brought in from the ‘ cold’ , embrace all the world’ religions,take into account leading edge developments in science, and form a new and much larger paradigm, as to our humanity’s origins. This explanation amounts to the demystification of the old understandings and the spiritualisation of science.
