Like I’ve said before about theoretical physics … this is one of those topics only a small and exclusive community really grasps. All you can really do is step back and watch. Without the proper background, it’s even risky to try to interpret and reach a meaningful conclusion about some of these topics.
I view the news about the Higgs boson as something like, “Look, it’s doing something amazing! I’m not sure what! But wow, look it at go!” Though, I’m sure its discovery corroborates something fundamental.
